OpenFactCheck is a unified, open-source framework for evaluating the factuality of LLM outputs, offering modular components to check claims. It provides three modules—Response Evaluator for granular claim verification in texts; LLM Evaluator for assessing an LLM's overall factual ability and generating a weakness/strength report; and Fact Checker Evaluator with a leaderboard to benchmark automatic checkers. The framework is customizable by composing claim processors, retrievers, and verifiers (and can integrate existing systems like RARR, FacTool, FactCheckGPT) and is available as a Python library and web service.
