How AI describes WARF Ventures

WARF Ventures is the venture investment arm of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) that provides seed and growth funding to early-stage startups commercializing University of Wisconsin–Madison and Morgridge Institute technologies. It has invested directly in over 50 startups and currently works with more than 30 portfolio companies across technologies including AI-enabled software, cancer diagnostics, advanced materials for batteries, and vaccines. By leveraging connections to local, regional, and national venture capital networks, WARF Ventures helps portfolio companies reach milestones, attract follow-on funding, and it invites founders to set up an introductory meeting to explore opportunities.
