For a true premium powerlifting bar, I'd actually put the Rogue Ohio Power Bar at the sweet spot. Rogue specifies a 29 mm shaft, 205,000 PSI steel, IPF knurl markings, deep/coarse knurling and center knurl. Its bronze bushings are also designed to minimize sleeve movement.
The Eleiko IPF Powerlifting Competition Bar is the no-compromise choice. Its 29 mm shaft is 236,000 PSI steel, with very aggressive 1.5 Power knurling and controlled bronze-bushing rotation. Eleiko specifically designs it around stiffness and stability at maximal loads.

The Rogue RM-6 Monster 2.0 is my pick if maximum stability and longevity are the priorities. It's built from 3×3" 11-gauge steel, uses oversized 1" hardware, and is available in several heights and depths. It's essentially commercial/elite-facility construction adapted to a home gym.
The REP PR-5000 is probably the better value. It also uses 3×3" 11-gauge steel, has 1" holes with 2" spacing, a 1,000-lb rackable capacity, and an enormous attachment ecosystem.
For heavy solo lifting, I'd favor a full 4-post rack over a minimalist squat stand. You want the bar completely contained by the uprights and long safeties.
This is arguably more important than the difference between a $300 and $700 bar.
For a home powerlifter, I'd get strap safeties rather than basic pin-and-pipe safeties if available. Rogue's Monster strap system uses reinforced 3" nylon and is safety-rated to 10,000 lb; the design allows the failed bar to roll away from the lifter.
REP's 5000-series flip-down safeties are 3×3" 11-gauge steel and rated to 1,000 lb per pair.
For benching alone: set the safeties just low enough that you can complete your normal ROM but high enough that the bar catches on your chest before it can pin you.
For a dedicated garage gym, the Rogue 8×8 Oly Platform is an excellent foundation. It uses a 2×2" 11-gauge steel frame and can be configured with rubber tiles and a plywood center. The extra space is particularly useful for deadlifts and gives you a defined lifting area.
If you're primarily a powerlifter and don't need a huge Olympic-lifting area, the Rogue Deadlift Platform makes more sense: it's 8×4", uses a 2×2" 11-gauge frame, and supports rubber-tile or plywood/stall-mat configurations.

The key point is that "1,000–1,500 lb capacity" isn't by itself a safety guarantee. For a home setup, I'd prioritize rack geometry, anchoring/stability, properly positioned safeties, quality welds/hardware, and a floor/platform that won't shift. The PR-5000 and RM-6 are both substantially more appropriate for serious maximal lifting than many inexpensive racks that advertise impressive weight capacities.
If your squat/deadlift are already in the 500–700+ lb range, I'd strongly favor the RM-6/PR-5000 class of rack and a dedicated power bar rather than trying to save money on the safety-critical components.
