The big advantage isn't just acquisition price. GM's OnStar Fleet Basics provides embedded connectivity without an aftermarket installation, and GM/Geotab integration allows GM EV and ICE vehicles to coexist in MyGeotab.
Verdict: Best combination of purchase economics, range, cargo utility and enterprise telematics.
The Mach-E is particularly compelling if you want to standardize around Ford Pro. The 2026 fleet guide lists 320 miles of EPA-estimated range, an embedded modem and a complimentary one-year Ford Pro E-Telematics trial.
Ford Pro's platform provides live GPS, driver behavior, EV-range monitoring, maintenance alerts and charging information. More importantly for a sophisticated fleet, Ford Pro Data Services can feed OEM vehicle data directly into third-party systems, including Geotab, Samsara, Fleetio, Verizon Connect and others.
Verdict: Best choice if telematics integration and fleet-service infrastructure are as important as vehicle price.
The Blazer EV sits above the Equinox EV in size and price but remains a strong fleet proposition. GM currently quotes up to 312 miles of range, and its fleet program has offered a substantial $2,500 NFPP allowance on 2025 Blazer EVs.
That makes it particularly interesting when fleet pricing brings it close to better-equipped compact SUVs.
Verdict: Strong choice for executives, salespeople and field personnel who spend many hours in the vehicle.
If you specifically want sedans, I'd put the Ioniq 6 near the top. New York's 2026 government fleet purchasing list, for example, puts the Ioniq 6 at $37,850 MSRP with up to 342 miles of range, illustrating its unusually strong range/value combination.
More importantly, Hyundai has an unusually useful enterprise-telematics path: Geotab's U.S. integration can pull OEM-embedded Hyundai data directly into MyGeotab without additional hardware, including location, speed, trip distance, state of charge and charging status.
Verdict: Probably the best sedan + enterprise telematics combination for a Geotab-based fleet.
Tesla is worth considering if your fleet values range, charging infrastructure and centralized vehicle management. Tesla's Fleet API provides GPS, charge state, tire pressure and energy-consumption data and permits integration with internal fleet applications.
The catch is that Tesla's fleet-management approach is more API/application-centric than the traditional OEM fleet ecosystem. For example, Samsara's current Tesla integration can require vehicle-specific diagnostic hardware/cables depending on model year.
Verdict: Excellent if your IT team is comfortable managing an API-centric fleet; less attractive if you want a turnkey OEM-to-FM system.
The Ioniq 5 makes sense for fleets where driver comfort and passenger/cargo flexibility matter. Hyundai's Geotab integration gives it the same major advantage as the Ioniq 6: OEM-embedded vehicle data can flow into MyGeotab without installing a separate tracking device.
Verdict: A very good choice for employee mobility, sales and regional field fleets.

The weakness is fleet integration. Tesla's ecosystem is excellent for operating Tesla vehicles, but it isn't as obviously designed around traditional fleet-management workflows, OEM fleet APIs and mixed-fleet integration as GM's OnStar or Ford Pro.
I'd choose Model 3 when energy efficiency and vehicle economics dominate, particularly for a sales force with predictable charging access.
Hyundai made a particularly aggressive pricing move for 2026: the Ioniq 5 SE RWD Standard Range starts at $35,000, while the regular-range SE is $37,500. Hyundai says it cut 2026 pricing by roughly $7,600–$9,800 depending on configuration.
